Clistivan is surrounded by fields, with panoramic views. The cottages are just 5 minutes to the market town of Baud, with its supermarkets, shops, and swimming pool. There are walks and cycling paths that start from the cottages, and wildlife all around. Guests say the location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful holiday, but with easy access to all the delights of rural and coastal Brittany. Beautiful forests and rivers are 5 minutes drive away, and golden sandy beaches just 35 minutes.
Living Rooms
Our living rooms are very comfortable and spacious. There are sideboards and shelves containing books, children's toys, games, CD's, DVD's etc. There are houseplants, candles and ornaments to make it a home from home. Each living room is equipped with sofas/armchairs seating 4 people, and there are dining tables and chairs. We provide TV, DVD player and CD player.
Bedrooms
Our bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and colour coordinated bedlinen is provided in the rental cost. Each cottage has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room. Double beds are 140cm wide (4' 6"), and single beds 90cm wide (3'). An extra bed can be supplied for the Mezzanine landing. Plenty of storage is available: wardrobes, chest of drawers and hanging rails.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms, which are beautifully tiled, are clean and modern. Each has a good shower above the bath.
Kitchens
Our kitchens are just like yours at home (or as one guest said - much better!). They are full kitchens with built in ovens, dishwashers, and washing machines. All the modern equipment you would expect is there; toaster, microwave, kettle etc.
Outside
Outside there are gardens to the front, back and side. The back garden is enclosed for small children's safety and offers beautiful views across the countryside. You can spend many a relaxed evening, having a bar-be-que and then watching the sunset with a glass of wine or two. Garden furniture and bar-be-ques are provided. The front and side gardens are more open spaces where you can use the swings or play ball games.
Local Activities
You will find lots of activities in the local area. There are well marked walking trails in the local forests and along the river banks, which can also be used for cycling. The local swimming pool is just a five minute drive and has a water slide and retractable roof in good weather. The River Blavet offers canoeing and boat trips and is just a 10 minute drive away. If you want an active holiday there is also go-karting and horse-riding on offer within 15 minutes. Finally, for the golfers there are 7 courses within 20-40 minutes drive.
