200 year old renovated traditional stone house on the banks of the river in Dinan, Northern Brittany.

Lose yourself in the maze of cobbled streets crammed with bars, restaurants, boutiques, ancient leaning timber framed buildings and artisan craft shops, or enjoy the views over the town and port from the castle ramparts.
Walk / canoe / cycle or take a boat ride down river to explore nearby villages, a ruined abbey or take a dip in an outdoor heated pool. Or venture further afield and take a boat trip to the walled coastal town of St Malo; take a car and explore miles of vast, deserted sandy beaches and cliffs of the Cotes D'Armor and the Emerald and Pink Granite coast; or head inland and learn about the many myths and legends of Breton folklore.
The property is ideally located for exploring the best areas of Brittany, and other activities and sights within easy reach include sea kayaking, surfing, sailing, horse riding, golf, tennis, local markets and chateaus, forest walks, children's adventure parks, Aquarium, megalithic stones.
For a truely French experience, time your stay to coincide with one of the many breton festivals including the popular Dinan medieval festival, music, oyster and tall ship festivals and of course Bastille Day.
This high standard, non smoking property offers easy parking alongside the river, comfortably sleeps 6 (1 double bed, 2 singles and a double futon in the lounge). There is also a seperate sitting room on the 1st floor with french doors overlooking the river, a modern shower room and a family kitchen with large farmhouse table. The property is not suitable for people with restricted mobility due to the original wooden spiral staircase to the 1st floor. Children are welcome but sorry no pets.
Dinan is easily reached from St Malo ferry port (20 mins), Caen and Cherbourg (2 hrs) which offer regular ferry sailings from Portsmouth, Weymouth and Poole; Dinard airport (15 mins by taxi with Ryan air flights from Stansted); and Rennes airport (45 mins with FlyBe flights from Southampton).
