The modern and comfortable accommodation is mainly on the first floor, opening on to a wide balcony along the front, while outside, the pool area has its own summer kitchen and dining area, the perfect place to relax. There is a tennis court that that is fit to play doubles. There is also a Jeu de Boules court and a fireplace in the garden. The villa is situated in the little village of Puy Sec, which consists of about five houses, most of them belonging to the same family. Our villa is on the edge of this range of houses and well separated and out of view from the other houses. In the vicinity there are plenty of woods and fields to explore, ideal for long walks, running, hiking or biking trips!

Just a few minutes’ drive away is the picturesque riverside town of Brantome, known as the Venice of the Perigord, which offers an ancient abbey, troglodyte tours and many pretty riverside restaurants. Also nearby is the chateau of Bourdeilles, open to visitors, while a little further lies the ancient city of Perigeux, with its cathedral and restored artisan’s district to explore. Perigeux is a large historic city with all facilities available. Just around the house there are plenty of woodland trails and roads to explore, ideal for hiking and biking trips. Father away the local rivers like the Dordogne provide an opportunity for canoeing! In Champagnac bel-air you find a fine five star restaurant.
