Our home is part of a small group of eco-chalets ( built '06) in a very peaceful location yet only 500m from the lake beaches, marina, watersports and restaurants of Hourtin Port.
Furnished to a high standard and comfortably sleeping 6 our chalet has a large lounge/dining area with seating for 6, Sat TV/DVD and well equipped kitchen - oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

The ground floor also has a double bedroom with built-in wardrobes, en-suite Italian shower with basin/vanity unit and a separate W.C.

Upstairs are a large twin bedroom with built in cupboards,TV/DVD/iPod dock; a comfy double sofa bed in the large mezzanine room which has a balcony overlooking the lake & loads of storage. Separate 2nd shower/WC.

Outside is a large terrace with garden furniture and BBQ- an ideal place to share a bottle of local wine whilst watching the sun set over the lake.
There is a private parking space and 2 adult bikes are provided.

Travel       

Around 1 hour to Bordeaux Merignac airport or easy reach to La Rochelle airport. Nearest ferry port is St Malo around 6 hours but easy driving from Cherbourg/Caen or Calais with plenty of places to stop en route if you wish.
