It has been nicely restored, with beams, exposed stone walls and natural wood floors and is situated in a little hamlet of converted farm buildings, so it is very safe for children and animals. Swimming pool The pool is a nice big one, about 100 yards from the house and for the exclusive use of any guests. It catches the sun practically all day long and is often above 80 degrees F. There are very comfortable sun loungers for your use. The swimming pool complies with french regulations and is surrounded by a see through fence. It is 1 meter 50 deep throughout.

The sunsets are wonderful! Every Friday there is an excellent market in Riberac and it also boasts some superb restaurants.Within a radius of 20km one can visit Brantome, the Venice of the Perigord region; the Chateau at Bordeilles, or the prehistoric caves at the Grotte de Villars. Slightly further afield are the beautiful towns of Sarlat and St Foy la Grande on the Dordogne river itself.A further 35kms takes you to the historic town of Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne region.ENJOY!
