The house is a 19th century farmhouse that was entirely renovated in 2005. It is tastefully furnished and has been decorated again recently. It lies in the heart of the Perigord region, less than an hour drive from the airports of Bergerac and Limoges. The surroundings are calm, with neighbours scattered around the small hamlet. A river flows less than 2 km away from the house and is ideal for a romantic walk or a fishing trip. The property has a large garden and 5000 acres attached where children can play. The nearby village of Cubjac has a decent range of shops, from a convenience store to a bakery shop, and a local farmers market takes place on the main square weekly. Tennis, horse riding, fishing and hiking are some of the numerous activities in the region available to our visitors. The world famous tourists sites of The Lascaux Caves or Sarlat-la-Canédat are located less than an hour drive away. Finally The regional capital Perigueux, with its supermarkets, movie theatres and discos for the enthusiastic, is easily reached by car!
