Domaine Aime
This charming studio flat is attached to an elegant 18th century village house belonging to a wine producer in the charming little town of Olonzac, situated in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon. Its sunny terrace overlooks the vineyards next to the house and you can sit peacefully, undisturbed except by the noise of birds, reading or dozing in the sun. The studio offers all that you need in terms of comfort including a barbecue on the terrace. The house is on the edge of the town. It is a thriving town with a good selection of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars as well as plenty of places to purchase the fantastic variety of local produce - including wine, cheese, meats, honey and olive oil. There is also a large market every Tuesday morning. The town has a beautiful park with tennis courts and a children’s play area - the nearby Lac de Jouarres provides opportunities for supervised fishing, swimming, boating and windsurfing. Everywhere, there are vineyards and the foothills of the Garrigue mountains provide a wonderful setting for cycling and walking. The Mediterranean can be reached in 30 minutes with the Pyrenees and Spain being just over an hour away. The area is steeped in history with many interesting sites to visit. Olonzac is conveniently accessible from Carcassone, Bezier or Perpignan airports or by train via Lezignan-Corbieres. Use of a car is advisable.
A damage/security deposit of 150 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay less the replacement cost of any breakages or damage.
All bedroom linen and towels are provided, as too are services within the fixed price.
