The Domaine de Saint Joseph, built in 1870, is situated on farmland bordering the Canal du Midi right next to a unique three-arched bridge called 'Les Trois Yeux' (The Three Eyes). It is surrounded by vines - and wheat fields and is close to the towns of Vias and Agde. In one wing of the Domaine there are three gîtes and next to the old winery (Cathédrale à vins) there are two cottage style Mobile homes, type Chalet.
Gîte 3 (sleep 4 - 55 m2 - air conditioned) is the largest gîte and has been renovated in a rustic style with beamed ceilings. On the ground floor: Build-in kitchen with oven and microwave, living room with three piece suite, wooden table and benches, writing desk, radio + CD player, TV and toilet. Terrace with garden furniture. On the first floor: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with 2nd toilet. 2 folding beds are available on request to create more sleeping places.
Gîtes 1 & 2: (sleep 2 - 35 m2 - air conditioned) 1 bedroom properties, ideal for couples. Nice build-in kitchen and air conditioned. Prices from € 300 to

Chalet 1 & 2: (sleep 4 - 24 m2 - air conditioned) corner kitchen, 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds. Large bathroom and separate toilet. In the courtyard of the Domaine there is a wash-house with communal washing machine, an extra fridge, there is a comunal fixed barbecue with its own terrace and outdoor furniture and a table-tennis table. The swimming pool (5.8 x 3.8 m) is next to a patch of fruit trees some 30m from the gîtes. Please note that there is no lifeguard! Access to the Domaine is securely fenced with a remote-controlled electric gate (deposit 50€).
By car: By autoroute A9 (la Languedoccienne), exit (sortie) 34 (Bessan, Vias, Pézenas), as well as you come from Pézenas (Millau); take direction Bessan>Agde, route D13. Pass through Bessan, once in Agde follow the road right past the railway station, follow the signs to Vias, route D912. Once on this road, after the first roundabout (straight on), take the first right (after 100m) and then the first left (30m). Go, go, go, cross the bridge et voila! Domaine de Saint Joseph.
