Dating mainly from the 18th century (remains of its 8th century Roman and 15th century origins), the Priory St Martial has been carefully restored into a harmonious mix of modern comfort and old charm. The 11 suites have each their own small private garden or terrace equipped with teak garden furniture and a barbecue and are individually decorated and furnished with 18th and 19th century country furniture, scattered with carpets and contemporary paintings. All the apartments have television and kitchens equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, an oven and hob, a fridge/freezer or fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker and kettle, toaster and ironing facilities. Nine of the eleven apartments have central heating. There are two large swimming pools, one with a children's pool, both heated outside the summer months. The third pool is a 4 x 8 metre heated indoor pool, maintained at a temperature of 25 degrees all year round. There is also a sauna for 8 people. .
