Le Mas de La Chapelle is situated in a region yet to be discovered by British families yet extremely popular with most other European countries as a holiday destination. The magnificent Ardeche gorges, with the world famous Pont d'Arc, are close by and canoeing is a very popular sport in this region with many options available to canoe the 34 kilometre course, or a shorter course if desired. The surrounding landscape is "sauvage", a walkers and cyclists paradise, with many historic villages to visit. The region is famous for Cotes du Rhone wine and other fruits are grown in abundance here too. With the fabulous Cevannes region close by, Mont Ventout (a feature of the Tour de France every year) can be seen in the near distance and visited by car if cycling isn't your preferred choice of transport...! The local cuisine is Provencal and there are many places to eat out, from local "Piboulettes" to restaurants offering unique dishes, with Paella and seafood options also being available. Le Mas de La Chapelle has a beautiful Gite, built and maintained to a very high standard accommodating two adults and two children. The large swimming pool is 6 x 12 metres and surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds and matresses. We also offer four letting bedrooms, and an excellent continental breakfast is included in the costs which start from 75€ per room per night: Le Rose with accommodation for two adults and two children; Le Bleu with a double four poster and occasional single bed; Le Verte with double and two occasional single beds; Le Jaune with a double.

We welcome families and can also provide cots and high chairs if required. The summer kitchen is a very popular feature allowing families staying in the chambres d'hotes to prepare their own meals on site too, very popular in these economically restrained times.
