Le Presbytère is a stone house located in the village of Pougnadoresse, a short drive from the town of Uzès. Avignon, the Pont du Gard and the Mediterranean are also within easy reach. The residence includes a walled garden, wine cellar, artist’s studio, kitchen with fireplace, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

A really wonderful restaurant is next door, and the cave cooperative (a short stroll) has just about the best Rose in the area. There are tons of walking and biking trails in the local area (3 bikes in the studio). A bread delivery van delivers fresh bread to the front steps each day. The beautiful medieval town of Uzes is a short drive away.
Le Pont du Gard: The tallest Roman aquaduct ever build. A stunning and beautiful local site. Lots to see and do here, a great modern museum which includes video and audio exhibits. You can also see how they cut the stone to build the aquaduct, there are 3 olive trees there that are over 1000 years old.
La Bambouseraie: This is a magnificent collection of bamboo and other plants. The Bambouseraie is now over 50 years old and is accessible by road of via the steam train from Anduze. Stunning scenery guaranteed.
Uzes: A beautiful medieval town. With many good restaurants. A huge Saturday market. The first Duchy of France. The Tour Fenestrelle. Gorgeous architecture.
Nimes: This town has a huge Roman amphitheatre, (it was used in the filming of 'Gladiator'). Concerts are still held here and you can also visit the amphitheatre during the day.
