LUXURY 5 BEDROOM VILLA WITH HEATED SWIMMING POOL, HOT TUB AND 8 SEATER MPV

The luxury villa lies in a beautiful village called Pennautier on the outskirts of Carcassonne.  Carcassonne airport is just 5 minutes drive away, and you can fly there direct with Ryanair from either East Midlands, Stanstead or Liverpool. 

Carcassonne is a beautiful medieval city dating back to 400 AD. There are a vast amount of sites to see and the medieval walled city is the second greatest tourist attraction in France after Paris. Inside the Medieval City there are an array of small shops and restaurants to suit everyone's taste. Carcassonne itself also has a large amount of shops and the central square is surrounded by restaurants with seating on the square itself.

Just a 45 minute drive is the Mediterranean Beach resort of Narbonne which boasts one of the best beaches in the South of France.  Toulouse is a 40 minute drive to the north west and has shopping which probably rivals London’s Oxford Street, but at much lower prices.  The Pyrenees are ideal for exploring, and are around 1 hours drive away, and are close enough to go skiing for those who are more adventurous.  All of this is within easy reach with the 8 seater MPV provided in the price, which is a British right hand drive vehicle, and has a built-in satellite navigation.  This will have a full tank of diesel on arrival and we just ask that you refill the tank when you leave.

The villa itself consists of 5 bedrooms , 3 double & 2 twin. Sleeps 10 comfortable with the addition of another 2 pull out beds for occasional use in the games room.

We have one permanent cot and a travel cot, a baby walker, a five position stroller push chair with accessories, changing mat etc. two child seats (9 months up to 4 years) one baby car seat (up to 9 months old) and a booster seat. (The suitability of these seats for your child remains your liability). 

The games room also contains a Playstation 2 (please bring your own games for this as ours are now dated), table football, pool table and a T.V. with British Sky box, which has the full package included in the price.

We have 10 bicycles that cover ages from 4 years to adults.  (There are some helmets but suitability of these remains the responsibility of the holiday makers). 

The through lounge/dining room also has a T.V with a separate Sky box so the kids can watch their programmes downstairs and leave the adults upstairs in peace.  In the dining room there is a family table that seats 8 people.  There is also an air conditioning unit that serves the whole of this room.

The kitchen comprises of cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer along with another table that can seat 4 people. There are 2 W.C’s, 1 bathroom with shower and another 2 shower room’s. There is also a large utility room where you can find 2 more fridges, (handy for storing the cold beer and white wine during the summer!), a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board.  All of the bedding and some towels are provided, but you may wish to wash items during your stay.

Outside there is a heated swimming pool with an electrically operated solid cover which is child friendly.  This also keeps the temperature of the pool higher overnight.  The pool is surrounded by a large terrace area with a circular gazebo which houses a glass dining table which can seat 6/8 people.  There is also a BBQ area and an outdoor chess area near the pool.

There is a smaller second terrace, with seating, just off the kitchen for that European breakfast in the sun.  Here you will find a round wooden table and chairs for 4/6 people that overlooks a large area of decking with outdoor lighting.  This has a large square gazebo which gives shade in the summer, and protection from the snow in the winter when you are using the hot tub.  This is suitable for up to 4 adults, and can be set for up to 40 degrees.

As we do include the use of our car (which has fully comprehensive insurance for any driver 25 years old), we do ask for a security deposit of £150.  A charge of £10 per person is added to the cost of the total stay for cleaning/washing etc.
