A stonebuilt 18th century house on the main square in the heart of the winegrowing village of Peret. Sympathetic renovations carried out by the owners have preserved the charm of this house with its old tiled floors and white walls, and turned it into a comfortable family home. The house comfortably sleeps 8 with its 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
From the street you enter a small entrance hall, and an archway leads you into the spacious dining room, sitting room and open kitchen. There is a large refectory table with 8 chairs and a lovely floor of polished red tomette tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a large oven, large refrigerator, coffee machine, dishwasher etc. There is an open fireplace in the sitting room.
The staircase leads up to the first floor with bathroom, second sitting room with doors leading onto large terrace - over 25 sq m complete with table, chairs and BBQ. Off one side of the sitting room is a bedroom with double bed and on the other side a bathroom with shower, wash basin, WC and washing machine.
On the second floor are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 singles. Between the second and top floor is a landing with a large bright bathroom. This has been beautifully designed by the owners. There is a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
On the top floor, under the attractive sloping eaves there is a room with 2 single beds, and finally a room with a sofa bed that can be used as an extra sitting -room or play room for children.
The house is generously equipped with good quality furnishings, utensils and linen. It has a full range of electrical appliances including 2 TVs, VCD, DVD (a selection of tapes and discs are provided) sound system etc. French (Canal +) and UK (Sky) satellite TV is connected.
