The house is situated 2kms from the village of Honor de Cos, where there is a grocery store and a bar. Also in the same commune is one of the most popular lunchtime bar restaurants in the area, with its excellent and reasonably priced menu, which generally has wine included.
The nearest town, Lafrançaise is just 10 minutes away and has supermarket and other shops, bakers, chemists and banks. It boasts lakes for fishing, and pedalos and a host of activities including pools, waterchutes, restaurant, evening entertainment, tennis, riding. There are a smattering of other local lakes boasting various leisure activities including sandy beaches.
Many of our visitors come here because they are house hunting. We used to work with bi-lingual lawyers helping buyers with their contracts. At present - this house and gîte is for sale this autumn.
