Magnificent and comfortable chateau in the Loire Valley with beautiful views, swimming pool and large enclosed park. This castle sleeps up to 15 persons. Built in the 19th century with the luminous white stones used in the Chateaux de la Loire, the chateau offers a beautiful setting as well as comfortable and spacious rooms with abundant outside light. All living rooms and bedrooms face to the south with a view to the park and the surrounding countryside up to 15 kilometers. It is a three storied building with two main floors: The ground level has a stone floored hall distributing the main reception rooms (aliving room, a library, a TV boudoir and a dining room). At the same level, the kitchen rooms combine functional appliances and traditional kitchenware and decorum. In the middle of the kitchen, a large monastery table can easily host ten guests for casual meals. On the upper floor, three master bedrooms and two suites are distributed by a gallery, with each room over 25 square meters and a view to the south, the park and the surrounding countryside. Each of the two suites have a large master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with one bathroom equipped with bath tub, shower, toilets, basin. Each of the three master bedrooms have their own bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. One extra bedroom of smaller dimension is situated at each floor level. The chateau is very comfortably furnished, has child equipment (bed + chair), and is totally safe for children (no roads, ponds, etc.). Notes: All standard and superior appliances one may expect in a comfortable home: electric and gas cookers, ovens, refrigerators, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, coffee machine, iron and iron table, electric tea kettle, etc. Tableware and kitchenware for 15 guests, Bed linens and towels for 15 guests, TVs (x2) and VCRs (x2) are situated on the ground floor. Outside: The park of 11 hectares (25 acres) is entirely surrounded by a wall. It is composed of oak woods and prairies and lawns edged with hundred-year old trees. It also has a rose garden with over 200 rose bushes. The fenced swimming pool (10 meters by 5 meters) has a stone floored sun bath area and all necessary equipment for sun bath. The chateau of La Plaine also has a barbecue and a ping-pong table as well as large, flat lawns for playing soccer or other similar games. Services: The Housekeeper comes on a daily basis (except Sundays) and is responsible for the daily maintenance of the swimming pool. Two hours daily housework is provided for the cleaning of the swimming pool and of the bedrooms. Upon request, additional service is provided on the basis of 12€ per hour. Linen is changed on a weekly basis.
