In a beautifully renovated Charentaise House we offer a self-contained Gite available for Holidays with self catering facilities and sleeping up to 5 people on 2 floors. There is a a comfortable sitting area and Kitchen with gas hob and microwave oven/grill, all crockery and utensils plus a shower room and toilet.  Outside there is a secluded garden to relax in, and off road parking. We have a lovely  spa swimming pool in the main garden with a terraced area with sun loungers, table and chairs and a barbeque. 
We have deer in the woods around us who come to drink from the river at dawn and dusk if you're very quiet,  there are also otters and coypu to be seen on the river banks,  ..and maybe you will hear a Sanglier roaming in the woods, though they are very shy.  We regularly have several Buzzards and sometimes a Red Kite flying overhead, not to mention in spring and Autumn the migrating geese on their flightpath over us which is spectacular to watch.
Without having to get into your car, right on our doorstep there are nature walks around the immediate area  through the woodlands, and there are some lovely tracks suitable for cycling around the local countryside and with fishing  available just outside the front door with plenty of fish in the river what more could you ask.
We offer the Gite for rental at €350 per week.
We also have further accommodation offering Bed and Breakfast and sleeping up to 5 with disabled facilities including shower and toilets.  We offer this complete with breakfast for 25€ per person per night and half price for children under 12.
