This is a beautiful village edge property that sleeps 4-6 people, our house is ideal for smaller families or couples looking for a relaxing holiday, without the seaside crowds.
You'll love the comfortable living room with its beams and marble fireplace fitting with a cast iron real fire, colour TV, DVD player, CD and radio. The kitchen/diner is new and is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and plenty of crockery and cooking equipment.
Downstairs there is a shower room with w.c, on the first floor there is a king size and double bedroom with w.c on landing there are double doors out to a balcony which is perfect for breakfast looking out over the gardens.
On the second floor is a king size bedroom, we like to call this the penthouse, as this has its own bathroom with bath, over bath shower and w.c.
Outside, the enclosed garden is perfect for long lazy lunches or barbecues (provided) among the many fruit trees. The house has a private patio and 9m swimming pool (shared with owners) with sun loungers where you can relax and enjoy your surroundings. There is ample off street parking and during low season Maison du Parc has full central heating.
It is just a 5 minute stroll into the village which has a network of waterways running through where you will find a village shop, boulangerie, patisserie, restaurant, 3 cafe bars, pizzaria, village park with picnic areas and water mill. There are two tennis courts (available for hire) and an indoor basketball court within five minutes.
A weekly local produce market and monthly antique market always brings a delight or two from the region and regular recitals and art exhibitions are held at the 17th century L'Orangerie banqueting hall just over the road.
Melle is situated approximately 10 minutes away by car where you will find find fine restaurants and supermarkets for all your needs.
St Maxaint L'Ecole is approximately 15 minutes by car, this is a larger town that boasts many restaurants, large supermarkets and a weekly market.
Electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are included and there is a £25 per week supplement for heating from October to March. Sorry, no pets or smokers.
