The Old School House of Passirac, built at the turn of the century for the children of the neighbouring Chateau also used by the Red Cross during the war. Today, having been lovingly and sympathetically renovated, this make a fabulous, very reasonably a priced holiday home. Overlooking the local church and rolling countryside, set in just under an acre of gardens filled with fragrant shrubs. Our aim is to bring together French lifestyles with the best of British hospitality. We try to ensure that everyone in your party enjoys themselves to the full. Maison St Louis may not be elegant or manicured but it is brimming with character and charm making it comfortable and a very relaxing place for holidays and celebrations.
The kitchen is light and bright reflecting the sun with its yellow walls, the units are made of Italian Oak with tiled surfaces and floor, which is carried through to the dining room, the dining room has a large table and sideboard with a view of the war memorial. The lounge is just through the door, with its wooden floors and calm cream walls, with a comfy three-piece suite, television and video, also a midi stereo system. French doors lead you back into the courtyard area by the back door, opposite is the door that takes you up the stairs to the first level of the house.
In front of the stairway is a door to the first twin bedroom overlooking the local church, the church is lit up at night to create a superb illumination, the church bells only ring three times a day, further along the landing there are another two rooms on the first floor, both overlook the garden and have the morning sun, these rooms are large and airy, one comfortably fits  three single beds the other is a double room,there is a bathroom between these two rooms which has a bath/shower, sink and toilet.
On the second level is a small bedroom and the master bedroom which has views of Passirac and the garden, this room is very large with one double bed, the landing leads to the second bathroom, fitted with Shower, bath, double sink and bidet. The accommodation is cleaned and beds made for your arrival, to provide you with a comfortable start to your holiday. The owners are on site but do try to respect your privacy, the overall property is very large so it is not hard to do so.
Set on a quiet village lane, entering at the rear onto our large driveway with ample private parking, the garden is on two levels the top level has flower beds, a decked area and shaded Gazebo perfect for eating 'al fresco' on lazy summer evenings, the lower garden is large enough for a game of badminton, football or cricket. Enclosed in this area is the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The entire garden is enclosed and each property has its own out-door seating area. We understand the importance of having fun, so we have a small bar area, which opens up onto the top terrace and leads through to the games room. You can bring your own drinks here, mix with other guest, play cards or darts. In the games room is table tennis, a football table, books and numerous board games, for the sporty ones a multi gym and other gym equipment, we are happy to show you running paths. Not wanting to use the outdoor BBQ’s there is an indoor one. Outside the bar area is a large BBQ and communal seating.
