This AIR-CONDITIONED house has been decorated by a local artist in the colors of Provence (honeyed ochers, deep blues and reds).
It comes in 2 configurations = 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms (please see details at the end of this section).
Lavender has been planted around the house. The 2-acre property is fenced, and large enough for strolls. It is out in the countryside, the house shaded by huge old oaks and pines. Mt. Ventoux can be seen from La Peyriere, and the peak - with its breathtaking view over hundreds of kilometers - can be reached easily. It is only 26 km away, and the drive goes through a series of scenic little villages. These are just some of the charms of this place located in the heart of Provence. An extra feature is that the large pool (4 m x 10 m) is far enough from the house that early swimmers do not disturb later sleepers.

Separate kitchen which opens onto the vine-covered terrace with stone benches and a large terrace table (also BBQ). Kitchen made from a huge hand-carved Provence antique – yet with every modern appliance, including dishwasher and washing machine. Three or 2 bedrooms: one in ochers and warm earthy reds (double bed); one in tranquil pale greens (double bed); and the third in soft warm yellows (2 single beds). Two bathrooms: one full bathroom (wheelchair accessible); the other with toilet and sink. (This is La Grande Peyrière with a third bedroom, the pale green one.)

La Grande Peyriere is ideal for anyone who loves peace and restfulness, and a pool, and for anyone who loves visiting Provence, where there is so much to see and do. Further, THERE ARE 2 OPTIONS. LARGE 2 or 3-BEDROOM UNIT. This unit has a spacious living room wth a fireplace and Louis XIVth mantlepiece, and its own terrace area.
In winter the house is very well heated. Winter is a magic time to enjoy Provence and relax at the end of the day in front of the fireplace. Please inquire for monthly rates during winter.
La Grande Peyriere is 3 hours away from Paris via TGV and 25 min away from the TGV station in Avignon.
During mid and high season rentals are Saturday to Saturday ONLY (or between 2 following Saturdays.
