Les Colombes
| Les Colombes: a delightful 18th century bastide in a private, tranquil and typical provencal setting. Close to the medieval village of Villecroze and a short walk from the renowned vineyards of Valcolombe. The property is situated at the end of a small lane in the exclusive residential area of Gandelon. A lovely location with panoramique views, including the hill village of Tourtour with its fine restaurants and architecture. This charming farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated to the highest standard and is surrounded by mature gardens with over 30 olive trees and numerous fruit and nut trees such as cherry, plum, fig, walnut and almond. There is a swimming pool surrounded by a large terrace with sun-loungers. | | | | Les Colombes is a detached and private property bounded by traditional dry stone walls and shrubs. There is ample parking within the grounds. Pleasant walks abound in the Gandelon including the beautiful hilltop site of St. Bartelemy with its caves and springs. Markets at Salernes, Aups, or Cotignac offer the best in ‘atmosphere’ and local produce. The Gorges du Verdon and the spectacular Lac de Sainte Croix are only ½hr drive away. The nearest shops and restaurants are only 15 minutes walk and Villecroze village with its open-air bars and restaurants is only 5 minutes by car. There are tennis courts in Villecroze and a riding school in Salernes. | | | | Les Colombes is well placed to experience some of the best of provencal life and culture. This is a charming property in a safe and quiet residential location. Tranquil yet near to two typical provencal villages & fine vineyards. The house is a real home from home, set up with care, flair and comfort in mind. Please bear in mind this is a non smoking property. |
