Pretty flat for a couple to explore this very French coastal region of Provence, only 4 minutes walk from long sandy beach, restaurants and shops of Les Lecques.
This modern, first floor, studio flat is in a quiet area but close to all amenities of Les Lecques as well as just a 10 minute walk from Saint Cyr village with its huge Sunday market. The apartment has been totally refurbished and refurnished for 2007. It comprises a lounge/dining area, kitchenette, open archway to separate bedroom area, balcony, shower room with toilet and handbasin. The total area, excluding the balcony, is 32 square metres. Outside the flat has an allocated parking space.
LOUNGE: Light and airy, newly furnished including comfortable armchairs, television, DVD (with recent selection of DVDs), CD. There is a breakfast bar separating the sitting area from the kitchenette. There are double French doors leading out on to the balcony.

OUTSIDE: The apartment is in a quiet area with its own allocated parking space; it is reached by a short flight of steps.
GENERAL: All linen is provided, including beach towels, and these are included in the price, as is electricity.Owners live a few kilometers away and so are on hand for advice, local information.
LOCAL AREA: Local beach, restaurants, cafes, shops and market within walking distance. Within 10 or 15 minute drive are many other beaches and pretty ports and marinas according to preference: La Madrague, Sanary, Cassis, La Ciotat, and Bandol with its nightlife and casino. Further afield are larger towns of Avignon, Aix en Provence, Arles, Marseille and Toulon all within an hour's drive; the Camargue, St. Tropez, Cannes, Monaco and even the Italian border are just a 2 hour drive. Inland, the dramatic scenery becomes mountainous and is excellent for touring or walking and visiting typical Provencal towns and "villes perchees". There is excellent golf nearby. Many local vineyards and olive oil mills to visit for tastings and buying. More French and less developed than St.Tropez/Nice area.
TRAVEL: Nearest airports are Marseille (1 hour away), Toulon (45 minutes away), Nimes (2 hours away and much quieter than Nice), Nice (2 hours away and very busy in summer).Autorail from Calais stops at Avignon, an hour away. Le Havre and Caen ferry ports are about a 10 or 11 hour drive, which can almost all be completed on motorway.
