The very charming Villa Lou Pantai is quiet, private and relaxing. It is a 200 square metre Villa in the Alpes Maritimes on 2 floors and sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms. It has 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom plus a study with very comfortable sofa bed. There is a private pool and 2,000 square metre secluded garden with olive, orange, fig and apple trees, barbecue and super view to the Mediterranean from 400 metres above sea level. The interior is naturally cool in summer with tiled floors, but there is central heating and log burning fireplace for winter. Situated between Gattieres and St. Jeannet, Lou Pantai is only 20 minutes from Nice airport (not overflown) and the Cote d'Azur, 30 minutes from Nice and Cannes, 1 hour from nearest skiing stations and 30 minutes from Cannes Mandelieu Airport LFMD (for private planes and jets)Vacation Rental Amenities Kitchen: Dishwasher, Microwave, 2 Fridges/Freezer, 3 sinks, gas hob, seperate oven, toaster, kettle, juicer, waffle iron, crockery, cutlery and all cooking utensils. 2 separate food preparation areas. Entertainment: US /UK Sky Satellite TV inc CNN, Bloomberg, Cartoon Network, BBC, Bose CD, 2 DVDs, Radio. Communications: PC, ADSL WiFi Web, phone, fax. Gardener and pool service included. Cleaning and laundry by arrangement if required. Linen and large supply of towels included in price. There is parking room for several cars.

Activities and Attractions When you have relaxed by the pool and dined out on the patio you can venture out to the local beaches, ancient villages, tennis courts, golf courses, restaraunts and shops. The nearest village, Gattieres is 10 minutes walk. To go further you will need a car which you can hire from Nice airport. There is a bicycle at the Villa for going to get the croissants.

Gattieres is about 1 km away so you have peace and quiet. But you are just 30 minutes drive from Nice and Cannes, 1 hour or less to Cap Ferrat, Ville Franche beach, St. Tropez and Monacco.

Must see places include Antibes old town and the historic walled town of St. Paul de Vence. St Jeannet and Gattieres offer several very reasonably priced family restaurants used regularly by the local people;(4 courses for 15-20 Euro).

Local shops are 5 mins drive away and include small supermarkets and specialist shops for cheese, wine, vegetables, fruits plus butchers, patisseries, bars, pharmacy etc. For a luxury day out book lunch by the pool at Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat and laze by their pool all day with stunning views over the coastline. For Christmas you can drive to local ski stations Like Auron, Isola 2000 in less than 1 hour, usually no chains required. Ski hire, hotels and passes are very cheap as they cater to local residents.

Boats and yachts of all descriptions can be chartered by the 1/2 day from Antibes. Despite all the local attractions I find the best place to be is by the pool at the Villa looking out over the Med with a good bottle of wine and plenty of local bread, cheese and charcuterie to hand. You can't beat it.

"Ms. Price - Gary Miller asked if I would drop you a line regarding our recent stay at his villa. My husband and I spent 8 days there in May with his parents and aunt and my sister, her husband and their 8-year old son. All of us had a very enjoyable and comfortable time. The location is quite nice -- between two lovely little villages and quite near Vence and St. Paul de Vence, both of which have great art (the Matisse chapel in Vence and the Maeght Foundation in St Paul). It was also convenient for the Cote d'Azur. The house has a wonderful view and is private and very quiet. It has a very nice, large patio, including a large table under the trees and near the pool where we ate dinner every night. The kitchen was easy to work in and well-equipped. The bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable and there were 3 full bathrooms, which was convenient for all of us. The linens, pillows, towels, etc. were all good- quality and very comfortable. It was especially nice for my in-laws because there was a separate 2-room apartment that was connected to the main house yet entirely private. That had its own bathroom and small kitchenette. Also, Gary was very nice and accommodating, as was Echo. We've rented villas in a number of countries and I would say that this was one of the best experiences we've had.
