A functional, clean, ground floor apartment with living / dining area, cooking facilities and separate bunk bedroom.  The living area contains a double sofa bed, dining table and cooking space with small oven, fridge and double hob.  The bathroom has bath, shower, basin and WC.  All crockery and cutlery are provided, together with duvets and pillows, but bed linen must be provided by the tennant.

The apartment is part of a larger chalet, with shared outdoor swimming pool and tennis court.  French doors open onto grassed area and a short, 50m walk to pool.  It is a 10 minute drive from the picturesque town of St Gervais les Bains,  about 40 minutes from Chamonix. and 75 minutes from Geneva airport (2.5 hrs from Grenoble and Lyon airports, 2hrs from Chambery).

In the summer, spring and autumn the area is a haven for alpine trekking and hill walking, with numerous marked trails.  Many cable cars run through the summer to make high altitude walking a bit easier!  Nearby Lake Passy offers a sandy beach, shady BBQ areas, and swimming.

The little known ski resort of St Gervais is 10 minutes away, with 200km of piste and a maximum altitude of 2300m.  A ski bus also operates from le Grattague, which contains a further 6 chalets with apartments.  Stunning views of Mont Blanc dominate the area.  Nearby Chamonix and Megeve offer further skiing options.

The apartment is ideal for up to four people, and all utility costs are included in the rental.  Car hire is recommended, and the resort is approximately an 8 hour drive from Calais.
