The house – old stone ruin restored in early 1970’s by American Sculptor Robert Cronbach. Rustic Charm – views of surrounding valley  from the terraces – one large bedroom, and one small bedroom – can sleep up to five people if the living room is used – one full  bathroom one half bathroom – large living room/dining room – kitchen  - furnished, linens provided. Available for the month of October 2008 (minimum rental period one week); also available.

Rates: $400(US)/one week; $700 for two weeks; $800 for three weeks to a month plus refundable cleaning/security deposit (Euro also accepted).

Location: Vieux Village, Savasse (residential village on the hillside above Savasse). Nearby attractions include the Northern and Southern Cote du Rhone wine regions, three Michelin star restaurant Sophie Pic in Valence, numerous castles and ruins, open air markets.

Approx Distances:  Paris 600 Kilometres, Lyons 225 Kilometres, Avignon 90 Kilometres, Marseilles 190  Kilometres, Valence 40 Kilometres, Montelimar 8 Kilometres.

You need to have a  car for practical purposes; the nearest grocers, butchers, supermarkets, etc. are about 10 minutes by Montelimar. Montelimar is easily accessible by train (TGV) from Paris and Valence has even more frequent TGV service. Car rentals are available in Montelimar and Valence. There is convenient access to the autoroute (exits are Montelimar Nord and Montelimar Sud).
